Mrs York – Galaxy Pageant 2026
Pageant 2026 - March 20th-22nd
Annie is delighted to be a finalist in the UK Galaxy Pageant 2025/26. As part of her journey to compete, Annie is using the platform to support Christie’s Cancer Hospital, a cause that is deeply personal to her. Having had two close family members recently go through cancer treatment, Annie understands first-hand the importance of specialist care, compassion, and ongoing support for patients and their loved ones.
The Galaxy Pageant is more than a competition; it is an inclusive charity-led platform that welcomes models of all ages, with no upper age limit and no requirement for extensive experience. This openness and encouragement have created a truly inspiring and supportive community, made up of individuals from all walks of life who uplift and champion one another.
For Annie, being part of such an amazing group makes the journey especially meaningful. Through fundraising and advocacy linked to the pageant, she aims to raise vital funds for Christie’s while demonstrating that confidence, purpose, and opportunity have no age boundaries.
This project reflects Annie’s role as an age advocate — proving that it is never too late to step forward, be seen, and make a positive impact.

Smart Works
Smart Women Abseil
Annie is proud to support Smart Works Leeds, a charity dedicated to helping women rebuild confidence and secure employment. Through high-quality interview clothing, personalised coaching, and practical support, Smart Works empowers women at pivotal moments as they prepare to re-enter the workplace.
Annie is taking part in this challenge as a member of Primed for Life—a collective of four pioneering Yorkshire women committed to promoting visibility, wellbeing, and confidence at every stage of life. Together, the group champions positive ageing, resilience, and the power of showing up fully, whatever your age or background.
As part of this shared mission, Annie, along with Rachel Peru, Bernadette Gledhill and Christine Talbot, will be abseiling down the iconic Cow and Calf Rocks on Sunday 8 March 2026, to mark International Women’s Day. Annie is not new to challenging herself on heights, having abseiled before on the TV programme Take A Hike. The fundraising event aims to raise vital funds and awareness for Smart Works Leeds, while encouraging others to step beyond their comfort zones in support of meaningful causes.
Through this event, Annie hopes not only to raise money for Smart Works Leeds, but also to shine a light on the importance of supporting women at crucial turning points in their lives. Her involvement reflects both her work with Primed for Life and her wider mission: championing resilience, opportunity, and empowerment—while proving that courage, contribution, and growth have no age limit.
